The SAE 100R1 / EN853 1SN hydraulic hose is a single wire braid reinforced rubber hose designed for medium-pressure hydraulic applications. The tube is made of oil-resistant NBR synthetic rubber, reinforced with one high-tensile steel wire braid, and covered with abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber. It is the most widely used hydraulic hose for construction machinery, agricultural equipment and industrial hydraulic systems.

What is the difference between SAE 100R1 and EN853 1SN?

The two standards are functionally equivalent. SAE 100R1AT (American) and EN 853 1SN (European) define the same single-wire-braid construction, pressure ratings and dimensions. Most global OEMs accept either - specify both when ordering for full traceability.

What working pressure can I expect from a 1SN hose?

Working pressure depends on inside diameter: 25 MPa (3,625 psi) at 1/4" and decreasing to 7 MPa (1,015 psi) at 2". Always select a hose whose working pressure exceeds your system maximum pressure, including spikes.

Can I use 1SN hose on excavators?

1SN is suitable for medium-pressure return and drain lines on excavators. For high-pressure boom, arm and bucket circuits use 2SN or 4SP/4SH depending on pressure. Refer to your equipment manual or consult our engineers.

Do you provide material and test certificates?

Yes. Every order ships with a packing list and test report. Material certificates (EN 10204 3.1), impulse test reports and dimensional inspection records are available on request.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom branding?
